We had a great trip to the beach last week. It was our first time to SeaGrove, and it was so nice. We had a great house for everyone, and the weather was perfect all week. Everyone had a great time! Brother decided to not sleep the whole night until the last two nights so that was rough, but at least we had help in the mornings so Jeff and I could sleep in after being up several hours in the middle of the night every night.
The kids were great traveling both ways. Owen only slept 45 minutes the whole way down:( But I had rigged up the iPad so he could at least watch something too....I think having a Sissy on either side to look at and play with helped too. He slept twice on the way home about 45-1 hour each..he didn't cry once on the way home...We stopped only once both ways....Awesome travelers!!!
I think Macey slept longer than Owen did on the way down!
Dinner out one night

"What's this?"
"I think I"ll taste it"
"Maybe not so good to eat:)"
Uncle Philip enjoyed getting some good Owen holding in
I taught Madison how to do the "Martha Washington" hairdo :)
Owen loved being in the sand....he made it down to swim one time....he spent the rest of the time at the pool
There was a great lagoon the kids loved swimming in
Owen liked hanging out in the "jellyfish tent"...thanks for the loaner Mimmy and Pops!
Thankfully there was a gate at the house since it was a 3 story house. Owen got mad a few times at being contained to the main floor. He was our little "puppy dog"
First time I've ever seen Uncle Philip in shorts!:) He loved swimming with the kids and letting them dunk him under
Macey fell asleep several days on the couch watching a movie
Owen enjoying his float...thanks Laura!
We played a lot of ball in the pool...we taught the kids 500 although we only played to 100. They really got into it
I was actually able to get Madison to take a nap on me one day.
The back-view of the house
Playing Crazy-eights before bed
Enjoying 4th of July fireworks on the back deck
The night we got home from Florida...Macey fell asleep about 7:30 reading a magazine on the couch...worn out from a week of fun!! Thanks for the trip Bebe and Papa!!!
