Atlanta Trip

We took the kiddos with Mimmy and Pops to Atlanta to visit with Mimmy's relatives. It's always a fun, quick, mostly in the car, trip, but the kids still love to go. The adults love to go for the shopping :) We were able to see everyone except for Aunt Bee and Uncle Bill which is usually hard to do. We were able to go to Uncle John's 90th birthday party, so that was fun, especially for Mimmy to see her cousins that she hadn't seen in a long time. 

 At the hotel the first night. Gotta love Netflix on the Ipad when there aren't good channels on the t.v. Helps them calm down for bedtime.

Macey slept in Mimmy and Pops' room so they were up first. Mimmy sent me this pic of Macey eating breakfast. She loves hotels...everything about them..especially the breakfasts in the mornings..she can put it away :)

Macey has wanted for months to send Patsy Ruth some flowers. She was finally able to deliver them in person. She was so excited to give them to her...such a tender heart.

 Patsy Ruth said she wanted to learn to knit. So we brought her one of those easy looms to learn on. Jessie is trying to teach her how to use it.

Luckily she lives in 2 rooms in her nursing home so the kids were able to play in one room while we visited in the other.

 We went back to the hotel for Sam to take a nap before the shopping began. The girls enjoyed rest time with a movie and popcorn in the other room.
