Start of Summer

We've enjoyed being lazy this first full week of summer! Playing around the house and helping Jessie pack to move (sniff, sniff) next week. We will miss you being down the street Aunt Jessie!!!!

We took some boxes down to Jessie's to help pack, but we couldn't use them for the kiddos wanting to get in them to play

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to Papa and Bebe's lake house over Memorial Day weekend. The weather was perfect the day we were there, and the girls loved being on the boat!

Kindergarten Awards

The girls closed out Kindergarten with their "Candy Awards." It was kind of their Kindergarten graduation. They got up in front of the parents and read their favorite journal entry they had written over the past year at school, then Miss Benson gave each student an award. It was so sweet and I definitely got teary.

Madison's journal entry was when they learned about farm animals, and her favorite was the pig. I was so proud of her getting up there to read...she was the first one in the class to go!

Macey's favorite thing was Field day and she said even if she didn't win the game, they were still just fun to play...proud of her too!

Madison got the "Helping Hand" award for always being willing to lend a hand to a friend, teacher, anyone she saw that needed something...she has such tender heart for other people.

Macey got the "Cheerleader" award for always telling people they did a great job and cheering them on...she is always considerate of others' feelings too...so proud of both my girlies awards
