Adventure Science Center

We went to the Adventure Science Center for the first time with some good friends, Bella and Baylor.  We had never been before, and luckily they go all the time so they could show us all the ropes. We all had such a good time and look forward to going back.

Their favorite thing was going in the tornado dome...it was hilarious. They were all screaming and laughing the whole time.

They loved looking at each other's hair blowing everywhere

Peeking up at the dinosaurs
Brushing teeth to make Daddy proud...too bad they spent more time on this tooth than they do on their own teeth! :)

Don't let this pic fool you..this is after screaming in the stroller for about 30 minutes and then finally giving it up for about 10 minutes...this kid is way too social to sleep in public and risk missing ANYTHING!! It was sweet for those 10 minutes though :)

Macey lifting a car with a little help
Under the arch...Don't want to admit how long it took the Mommies to get this right :) We joked that we would have lost if we had been on the Amazing Race!
Me and Brother kept taking the elevator to catch up with everyone on the playground...gotta love strollers!
Owen liked the area for him too...banging blocks on a table is super fun!
Sissy came to help build a tower for him to knock down

Owen is 10 months!!!

Little man is 10 months already!! He is getting so much personality...never stays in one place...loves to play with anything that has wheels so he can push it around the house. Loves to follow his sisters around the house. Loves it when Daddy gets home. He still eats mainly baby food...slowly working on that :) He takes 4 bottles a day, but starting to not drink them all so hopefully getting close to milk and less bottles. He has 4 teeth on top coming...3 have barely poked through. He is still a happy happy baby. He is pulling up on everything and getting better balance although not really letting go yet. He is still struggling at Sunday school, but we figured out he likes to be held by men so the teachers usually let him cry for a little while then flag a man down to hold him the rest of class and he is fine...so funny. He will reach out a practically jump out of my arms to be held by a random man or another little boy. He likes to sing with his sisters when they sing (all the time). He is definitely letting his sisters know when he has had enough of them and screams at them when he wants to be put down or left alone...poor thing isn't left alone to play much :) We love you little boy!!

Mickey t shirt that started with Bobo then has gone through all the grandkids ;)

Love that grin!

First time to have spaghetti...luckily a bath night!:)

This girl LOVES to haul her brother around...sometimes he likes it, sometimes not :)

Always wanting to play with his Sissies. They love sitting at the keyboard and sing...so he goes over there to sing and bang on the piano too :)

Pool time...he finally likes getting in..this was the first time he actually smiled in the pool.

Cousin Swim Party

We had a swim party today while most of the cousins on my side were in town. I think we were only missing 4 which is good...more than we usually have all together. It was so fun, and so good to see everyone who we don't get to see very often.

Stella was so sweet even though she hadn't slept well and had some new teeth coming in
 Henderson (4), Josiah (19 months), Tate (4), Drayton (4)
 Cora (almost 2)
 Macey (5), Brady (5), Madison (5), Caden (6), Sam (3)
 The whole gang minus 4

Memorial Day Weekend Lake Fun

We went to the lake Sunday for Memorial Day to meet Bebe and Papa. It was Brother's first time on the water in the boat. He was a trooper, but looked and seemed pretty miserable in that life jacket. Luckily he was asleep for most of the boating. It was a perfect day weather-wise, not too hot. The girls had a blast on the tube with Jeff and then swimming in a cove.

 Owen napping

 Tubing with Daddy
Macey really liked helping Papa drive the boat

They wanted to ride by themselves but they just weren't quite heavy enough and the tube flooded. :)
Eating some Cheerios to keep him occupied since he really couldn't  move much in that life jacket

Zoo Fun

We went to the Zoo on Tuesday to beat the crowd before school got out. It was a perfect day for it weather wise, and for the most part we were able to stay ahead of the field trips. The kids had a great time, and the babies did awesome...stayed in the stroller the whole time and even took somewhat of their morning naps...so all in all a great morning!

They fed the wart hoggish animals  right when we got there so they were up close to eat their breakfast

Got good views of the elephants too

 Owen liked watching the elephants

Owen was enjoying his bottle while Jessie took the big kids on the carousel

Then I took the kids through the Dinosaur exhibit while Lilly ate :) Madison was the only one brave enough to get her picture made with the dinosaur at first
Then Macey got brave...Sam never made it over there :) Macey and Sam did NOT want to go through a second time!
Macey's favorite...the kangaroos...they are her favorite animal right now
