Soccer Camp

The girls had soccer camp a few weeks ago. It was their first experience with soccer, and they loved it!! They couldn't have had a better week weather-wise...mid 80's and cloudy every day. They learned a lot, but also had so much fun!!

 Crazy-hair day.

They loved playing in the rain on one day
Macey on a break-away

They ended every day they were outside on the slip and slide to cool down

Jersey day..the only jerseys we have are my old ones so they got to wear 6th grade bball jersey and my little league baseball Orioles
Macey practicing kicking goals...I wasn't fast enough for Madison's

I told Jeff I had never seen Madison run so fast and for so long at a time with a smile on her face...who knows...soccer may be her thing

They also had Princess camp every afternoon that same week. These were the only pics I got, but they loved that too. Trying to keep them well--rounded! :)

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the most awesome Dad! Really can't imagine having a better one of any other one. Just a few things that made/make him so special:

*Taking us kids to eat at Bonanza every Monday night for kids eat free night to give Mom a break

*Taking us on the Inner City bus he drove starting when we were age 2 and getting off to go to classes with the other kids

*In the summer...getting home from working all day, eating a quick dinner then heading straight to the pool with all 3 of us to have some swimming time with him

*Every other season, after work, immediately playing basketball in the driveway, baseball in the yard, racing go karts, playing paintball in the back yard

*He had bath duty and putting to bed duties every night

*Playing hour long memory games with Jessie at night after we had to go to bed

*Teaching us the value of hard work

*Lending to anyone who needed it..never expecting to have any of it returned

*Teaching us time management when all 3 of us played multiple sports during school, but still expected to bring home A's from school...which we did

*Everyone else thinking he was intimidating except all our closest friends who knew really how goofy he was

*Always having fun with us...taking us on multiple vacations a year...but always demanding respect too

*Never wanting to disappoint him b/c he always made it known that we were always his top priority

*Coaching every little league team of every sport for all 3 of us until we got to school ball. If his kids were involved...he was there...period.

*Not working a normal work day from November thru March for at least 6 years when he had kids in Middle and High School so he was at the gym 4 out of 5 weeknights from 3PM -10 PM every time. Even if it meant driving an hour to the away games. And stopping at Sonic on way home for a milkshake :)

*Apologizing to me for the ONLY basketball game he ever missed and it was my senior year of high school...that included all scrimmages and summer camp games

*Being a great Spiritual leader for our family...devos every night before bed without fail growing up

*Could go on and on, but I'll stop there :)

*Loving my kids and all his grandkids just as much as he loved us....Thanks Dad and Pops...WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!

And Owen has really big shoes to fill, but no doubt he will with this man guiding him. :) So thankful, also, for the man who is the Father of my children. I am so blessed to have married a man that loves me and his kids so much.

*Works hard for us

*Plays hard with the kids when he gets home

*Takes role of spiritual leader of family seriously

*Most nights falls asleep snuggling his girlies in bed

*Loves to constantly be holding Owen

*Teaches our kids to work hard and play hard

*Never is too tired to play Ninja Warrior with the girls to bed

*Never complains if he has to give something up for family time

*Goofs off with the kids, but demands their respect to everyone

*Very generous of his time and means

*Letting me go to the grocery EVETY Saturday morning all by myself! :)

*And the list continues....

WE LOVE YOU, DADDY, thanks for being so great!!!

And, finally, Papa. Thanks for making Jeff the Christian man and father he is today! Thanks for loving our kids, taking them on hikes, tubing on the lake, telling jokes, taking out for ice-cream, and talking around the fire. We couldn't have asked for a better Papa!! We love you!

Adventure Science Center

We went to the Adventure Science Center for the first time with some good friends, Bella and Baylor.  We had never been before, and luckily they go all the time so they could show us all the ropes. We all had such a good time and look forward to going back.

Their favorite thing was going in the tornado dome...it was hilarious. They were all screaming and laughing the whole time.

They loved looking at each other's hair blowing everywhere

Peeking up at the dinosaurs
Brushing teeth to make Daddy proud...too bad they spent more time on this tooth than they do on their own teeth! :)

Don't let this pic fool you..this is after screaming in the stroller for about 30 minutes and then finally giving it up for about 10 minutes...this kid is way too social to sleep in public and risk missing ANYTHING!! It was sweet for those 10 minutes though :)

Macey lifting a car with a little help
Under the arch...Don't want to admit how long it took the Mommies to get this right :) We joked that we would have lost if we had been on the Amazing Race!
Me and Brother kept taking the elevator to catch up with everyone on the playground...gotta love strollers!
Owen liked the area for him too...banging blocks on a table is super fun!
Sissy came to help build a tower for him to knock down
